There is a difference between actual historians and those using history for propanganda.
Actual historians make an effort to be as objective as possible and they are certainly not going to overlook the Donald's many character flaws. The problem is that they will seem him as a symptom of much deeper issues and little more than a blimp on a spiraling inward and downward, of a country that had known only growth for its fisrt two hunedred years and had no concept other than debt to sustain the illusion of growth, even as larger forces worked against it.
So we got some bankruptcy skating con artist jump in line in front of the Chosen One, rather than just playing the role of the comic relief fall guy.
Now its more of printing money out the wazoo, but the curtain is back in place, so all is well.
