Think in any organic community, where the most respected are those that contributed the most, village elders, etc.
Yet in our society, it is those who extract the most, the billionaires.
Which is actually socially infantile.
Consider the wealthy are not just those extracting the most, but also those feeding basic appetites, like celebrities. Sugar over healthy foods.
Basically because humanity has grown beyond that organic core and is figuring out how to function as a national and global community.
We function as cells in that larger organism and it's healthy when everyone works together, for the health of the community and the long term health of its environment. When everyone is just grabbing what they can, basically it's as single celled organisms, bacteria.
Both bacteria and neoliberal economics work on the same infinite growth model. the problem is when they reach the edge of the petri dish/resources.
That's the advantage of multicellular organisms, being able to sense and navigate the situation.
Though there is a lot of basic spirituality involved. Being able to sit back and sense that consciousness bubbling up is ultimately the same essence, looking out through multiple eyes, as we have two.
Lives go birth to death, future to past, while life moves onto the next generation shedding the old, past to future.
