Think of time as frequency(rate) and temperature as amplitude(degrees).

The problem is that thinking is to focus on the singular, but this is more of a dichotomy. The left, logical side of the brain is more the clock and ruler, while the right, emotional side of the brain is more the thermostat and barometer. One sees the information the waves generate, like sight. While the other senses the energy, the attraction/repulsion, push/pull.

Our minds evolved to navigate, so we tend to concentrate, signals from the noise. Yet noise is the medium and signals are the message. You kind of have to let the information/signals/energy come to you, rather than trying to pick out the information from it.

This is because the node, of the signal, depends on the network of the noise. If you isolate the signal, it will start to fade/die. There is no signal without noise.

I know I'm being a little obscure here, but having grown up around more animals than people, it's more about feeling the vibes, than fitting into the boxes.
