This country is sort of like the family that uses a home loan to go on vacations and buy more useless stuff and is now kiting checks, cooking the books and fighting over who gets the most, meanwhile blaming the neighbors for their problems. I realize trying to tell people they need to look in the mirror would be too traumatic, but temper tantrums and pointing fingers is what you do to avoid going into detox, not a solution.

Those of us who long ago realized the system has to crash, before we can build something better, are just sitting back and watching. No sense in interfering, when the system is tearing itself apart. The scab is slowly peeling away.
