The problem is that action beats reaction.

The issue is how to transcend the raw tribalism, that is driving so many Jews to back the crazies leading the way into the abyss.

As Mark Twain said, "Don't argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

Netanyahu is on record as actively promoting Hamas, as the more radical element among Palestinians, as a way to avoid dealing with the more moderate Palestinian Authority and the possibility of two states. The crazies on the Israeli side need the crazies on The Palestine side.

Even though they are rapidly exceeding all crazy, it still means the only eventual solution will be a big picture one. In practical terms, the bankruptcy of the West, of which Israel is just one room in that collapsing building.
