Time is an effect, like temperature, pressure, color and sound. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.

Our problem is that as mobile organisms, our experience of our environment is as a sequence of perceptions, so we think of time as the point of the present, moving past to future, codified as measures of duration, while the reality is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterdy, because the earth turns. There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present. Cause becomes effect.

Ideal gas laws correlate volume with temperature and pressure, but they are only foundational to our emotions and bodily functions, not the sequence of thought.

Three spatial dimensions are a mapping device, like longitude, latitude and altitude. Often different people apply different maps to the same geography, backed by different narrative histories and go to war over who is right/more powerful.

If all physical relations are removed from space, it has the non-physical qualities of infinity and equilibrium, which is implicit in Special Relativity, as the frame with the fastest clock and longest ruler is closest to the equilibrium of the vacuum, the unmoving void of absolute zero. So space is the absolute and the infinite.

In some ways, our minds are still are on a flat earth, with the heavens circling overhead.
