True, but predators in nature only kill what they need and generally serve to weed out the weak, strengthening the overall health and sustainability of the prey.
Which is part of that overall cycle of nature. While we have projected it out to an abstracted infinity, where all value is distilled down to monetary units and siphoned out of society and the environment, largely by the alpha members of the herd, with little sense of how to feed it back in and keep the ecosystem healthy.
