Unfortunately the Western, linear, goal oriented paradigm is more driven and dominant in the short term. Even China, after a couple centuries of colonialism and plagiarizing monolithic Western ideologies, from communism to capitalism, is caught up in it.

Though the future we’ve consequently borrowed against is soon arriving.

Without the ups and downs, it’s a flatline.
