Vasuman,
The problem with your terminology is that an absolute would be an essential, not an ideal, so a spiritual absolute would be the essence of sentience, from which we rise, rather than an ideal of wisdom and knowledge, from which we fell. More the new born, than the wise old man. The element of consciousness seeking knowledge, than any particular form of it. The light shining through the film, than the images on it.
For instance, good and bad are not a cosmic dual between the forces of righteousness and evil, but the basic biological binary of beneficial and detrimental. What is good for the fox, is bad for the chicken and there is no middle ground, other than the energy of the chicken becoming a somewhat fleeting part of the fox.
This idea of a top down, father figure lawgiver is more of a narrative device to instill respect for the order of the universe, reflected through one’s culture, into succeeding generations of people.
Reality is this dichotomy of energy radiating out, as form coalesces in. Look at galaxies, as light radiates out, while mass coalesces in.
We have the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy driving us on, along with a central nervous system to sort through all the information precipitating out of our environment, as well as referee all the emotions and impulses bubbling up.
As society is the raw social energies bubbling up, while civil and cultural forms coalesce in.
Moral and social codes are a dynamic of these desires pushing us on, versus the cultural and civil forms selecting what to promote, what to accept, what to limit and what to deny. Not every acorn gets to be an oak tree. Though without acorns, there are no oak trees. This energy bubbles up in the cracks and weak spots, so they are patched over, but overall pressure increases and finds other outlets.
The factor of time is a significant problem. As mobile organisms, we have a sequential perception process, in order to navigate. Then we attenuate this impression by narrating our journeys to one another and building civilizations out of the collective knowledge.
Yet time is not so much the point of the present moving past to future, as it is change turning future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. Potential, actual, residual.
Energy is “conserved,” because there is no physical past for it to recede into, or physical future for it to arrive from. There is no physical dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, in order to inform it. Aka, causality. It is an effect, like temperature, pressure, color, etc. Think frequencies, or metabolism.
So as this energy is constantly changing, it goes from past to future forms, as these forms go future to past. The process churns along, as the patterns rise and fall.
Think of a factory, where the product goes start to finish, while the production line goes the other way, consuming material and expelling product.
As with life, While individuals go birth to death, the species goes onto future generations, shedding old. As our element of consciousness goes from one perception to the next, as these defining thoughts and feelings come and go.
All in feedback loops, as the patterns affect and define the directions of the processes.
So it’s more of a yin yang dualism, than this western monist idealism.
