My mother was very much a stoic. More along the lines of Kipling's If, than anything Greek.

I don't have the material stability. For me, it's mostly about maintaining focus. The epilepsy is part of it. Some parts of my mind I just tip toe by the doors.

The medicine makes me fall asleep, if I'm not focusing.

There have been too many times where I've skated out over the edge and came back, so I'm not supposed to die yet. I don't know what that qualifies as.
