Violence has its appeal, especially as a response to violence, but it's not always a good strategy.
For one thing, if you don't overthrow the state, you only serve to validate the oppression. Consider how often the police state comes up with false flags, if they are feeling unloved? The Capital mess of Jan 6th, 21 is a good example. Then again, according to the engineers, Building 7 fell down out of sympathy, on 9/11.
Then if you do succeed in overthrowing the state, the main lesson learned is that violence works and if you are lucky, you become another police state, like the Zionists in Israel. If you are unlucky, the various factions devolve into warlords and the state disappears, like Libya.
One way Israel has managed to keep up a good front is the Western money and talent, Diaspora Judaism, European guilt, Anglo-American geostrategy.
So rather than the warlords fronting the state, it's the salesmen. I've learned a new word, from Medium; Hasbera. "Explaining." Selling the goods. That's why Zelensky's mentor, Netanyahu, manages to stay on top. The Beggar Emperor, demanding, lecturing, insulting the patrons.
So what Palestine needs, is a Gandhi, not a Guevera. Maybe even a truth and reconciliation commission. That way, when all is said and done, you have a culture that is stronger then ever, not torn apart.
