We are narrative creatures, so we think of time as the present moving past to future, but it’s change turning future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. There is only this dynamic present and its changing forms.

Consciousness is only present, so it’s actually the thoughts coalescing and dissolving. Future to past.

As lives go birth to death, while life goes onto the next generation, shedding the old.

Processes churn along, as the patterns generated rise and fall.

While the patterns steer the process, if they start spiraling into the various rabbit holes, let go of them. Push the reset button.

We are born as these little seeds of consciousness and naturally think we know all there is, but as we grow up, we grow roots and network out into the larger world, learning that we don’t know everything. Sometimes it works better to be a plant, than having to always move.
