We are tactile, mobile organisms, with a narrative based culture, so the presumption of some goal is a function of who we are, but nature is cyclical, circular, reciprocal and feedback generated. So more is not always better. We do fluctuate between selfishness and selflessness. Shooting for the stars and falling back to earth.

Without the ups and downs, it's a flatline anyway, so our minds and imaginations are a consequence of there being no final solutions, just dealing the best we are able.

The journey, not the destination.
