What????

The freaking country was about to crack apart, prior to Oct 7th. Half the country was marching against the other half trying some judicial coup.

It will be interesting to see if Oct 7th was all that is holding the country together, when it can't be kept going.

Israel missed a lot of civil evolution in that 2000 year gap in its history.

There are centrifugal and centripetal forces in any society, liberal conservative, young and old. In the last 3000 years, people have gone from mostly small tribal units and some larger cultural networks, to nation states of hundreds of millions of people. There have been and will continue to be a lot of growing pains.

Israel is having a psychotic breakdown. Jews are not inherently dumb, or immoral people. This will do more lasting damage to the culture, than the Holocaust.
