What about the philosophers?
We are linear, goal oriented creatures in a cyclical, circular, reciprocal, feedback generated reality and we've reached the edge of the petri dish.
People want answers, not truths. That's why there are so many priests and polticians, while the philosophers are neutered and confined to the back alleys of academia, to chew over the same dried out ideas and assumptions and anyone pointing out the blind spots will be invisible.
Is time the present moving past to future, or change, turning future to past?
Would a spiritual absolute be an ideal of wisdom and judgement from which we fell, or the essence of sentience from which we rise?
Are good and bad a cosmic conflict between righteousness and evil, or the basic biological binary of beneficial and detrimental?
Is money a social contract enabling mass society, or a commodity to mine from it?
Everyone is in a rush, but the turtle is still plodding along, long after the rabbit has died. Eventually the last ten thousand years and the next ten thousand years will be several inches of coal.
We can perceive, but it's not up to us to judge.
