What if it's just bullshit generation going parabolic?

Feedback loops with no circuit breakers.

Microphone up to the speaker and the shriek going off the chart.

When the premises are flawed, all the "shut up and calculate" is just that much more GIGO.

Consider that as mobile organisms, this sentient interface our body has with its situation functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so our sense of time is the present going past to future. It is the basis of culture and civilization, as narrative and history. The foundation of knowledge, as each generation builds on the next.

Yet the evident reality, for those of us experiencing this reality first hand, is that activity and the resulting change turns future to past. Potential, actual, residual.

Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is "conserved," because it manifests this presence, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound, as frequencies and amplitudes, rates and degrees.

Energy lost from one model is replaced by energy radiating in from surrounding frames, thus negating entropy.

Galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in.

So the energy, as presence, goes past to future, because the patterns generated come and go, future to past.

Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall. No tiny strings necessary.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past.

Suggesting consciousness functions as an energy.

Science has the same problem with energy, as with consciousness, in that it can only be defined in terms of the forms it manifests.

Nouns presuming verbs, rather than nodes and networks.

Synchronization versus harmonization.

The digestive system processes the energy, feeding the flame, while the nervous system sorts the patterns and information, signals from the noise, with the circulation system as feedback in the middle.

So those wrapped up in studying the patterns and information tend to obsess over it and all the infinite details expressed.

Thus this idea that with sufficient information processing, consciousness becomes manifest.

Rather this information processing is a survival mechanism, like running or generating toxins.

That is why emotion, amplitude, invariably trumps logic, the organization. Whiteout.

Such that very few people will think through the implications of this point, rather than just running with the herd, as AI becomes the Next Big Thing.
