What if that vacuum is just an equilibrium state?

Which is implicit in Special Relativity, as the frame with the fastest clock and longest ruler would be closest to the equilibrium of the vacuum.

Yet that is in contrast to the infinite, which is the fact that any boundary is by definition, finite. There is always The Other Side, the step beyond.

Energy fills space, manifesting forms. Though as the energy radiates toward infinity, the forms collapse toward equilibrium. Much as a wave spreads out until it fades. The energy drives the wave, while the fluctuations rise and fall.

Galaxies are energy radiating out, while the forms coalesce in.

Yet it is our digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy driving us, while the central nervous system perceives the forms precipitating out. So there is an inherent intellectual bias toward explanation in terms of the forms and patterns, rather than the energies and processes. We try to quantify energy in terms of the forms it expresses, wave, particles, etc, rather than seeing them as expressions of the energy.

Much as we only define consciousness in terms of the perceptions, thoughts and feelings it expresses.

So energy, as well as consciousness, goes past to future, while the patterns generated go future to past.

The fallacy of monotheism is that a spiritual absolute would be the essence of sentience, from which we rise, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which we fell, but religion is a social device, not a philosophic endeavor.
