What if the cracks/logical flaws in the paradigm go much deeper than our current political conflicts?

For one thing, it means there is no immediate patch that will resolve these tensions, as all the previous patches seem to be unraveling as well.

Consider that as mobile organisms, this sentient interface our body has with its situation functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so our understanding of time is as the present moving past to future. It is the basis of culture and the civilizations arising from the interactions of the various cultures. Physics codifies it as measures of duration.

The evident reality though, is that activity and the resulting change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. Duration is the present, as the events come and go.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect. It's like a tapestry being woven of strands being pulled from what was woven.

Energy is conserved, because it manifests this presence, creating time, temperature, pressure, color, sound. Frequencies and amplitudes, rates and degrees.

So the energy goes past to future, because the patterns generated come and, coalesce and dissolve, future to past. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past.. Though it is the digestive system processing the energy, feeding the flame, while the nervous system sorts the information and the circulation system is feedback in the middle.

Consider as well, that galaxies, the dominant dynamic in the universe, are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in.

While energy expanding might not need much explanation, beyond entropy, the question is as to why structure coalesces?

Which seems to be that entropy for structure is to synchronize. Everything from the fact what we perceive as signals in the noise is what resonates and then synchronizes with our prior knowledge, to the fact anything actually falling into black holes is shot out as quasars, which are like giant lasers and lasers are synchronized light waves.

So, if you have followed my somewhat truncated argument so far, there is this elemental tension between energy and the forms expressed.

Which not only goes to our inherent nature, the anarchies of desire, versus the tyrannies of judgement, but to our political and economic models and the social tensions coursing through them. Thermodynamics rules.

As you prefer those civilizational structures over the raw organic energies driving them, steering over the motor, you should then be very cognizant of what happens to those structures when they become unstable and lose contact with the underlaying forces. The positive feedback becomes negative and any effort to patch the problems tends to only magnify them. Which is the stage we are at now. The mother of all reality checks is in the mail.

The old structures turn to dust and the new has to formulate something out of the detris.

Some is seed, the rest is fertilizer.
