What if you think you have a good idea, but everyone else thinks you are a crackpot?
Consider these few;
We look at time backwards. It isn’t the point of the present, moving past to future, but change, turning future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. So there is no “dimension” of time, because the past is consumed by the present, in order to inform it. Causality and conservation of energy.
Yet not only does this bring to question that crystalline sphere of modern physics, spacetime, but it goes against the sequential thought process of mobile organisms and the narrative basis of civilization. No luck there.
The logical fallacy of monotheism would be that a spiritual absolute would be the essence of sentience, from which we rise, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which we fell. Yet no culture could function, if it simply reveled in sentience, so the shadow of that top down father figure and his ten commandments rules. The problem though, is that good and bad are not some cosmic duel between the forces of righteousness and evil, but the basic biological binary of beneficial and detrimental. The1/0 of life. From which all the higher order moral structures arise; morality, respect, responsibility, honor, empathy, sympathy, etc. Yet when we confuse the basis with the ideal, conflict quickly becomes a race to the bottom, rather than each side being able to hold the other to the higher, evolved standards.
Capitalism has made the tool which enable markets to function, money, into their god and the effect has gone metastatic. Money mostly functions as a contract, with one side an asset and the other a debt, so in order to store the asset, similar amounts of debt have to be generated. Consequently, in our rush to extract the signal of money from the noise of the economy, society and the environment, we destroy them in order to have lots of fictitious numbers in our bank accounts. Try going public with that one.
