What is ignored is the difference between free markets and capitalism.

Markets require money to circulate, while capitalism is the creation and accumulation of money, as an end in itself. Which means they are actually in opposition, as an effective medium is not an effective store. For example, blood is a medium, while fat is a store. Yet Economics assumes they are interchangeable.
