What needs the most attention is the nature of money and banking.
Modern economics and bacteria operate on the same infinite growth formula. The problem is when they hit the edge of the petri dish, or the resources.
The advantage of multicellular organisms is being able to sense and navigate their surroundings.
To the extent society functions as a super organism, government, as executive and regulatory, is the nervous system, while money and banking operate as a form of blood and circulation system. Presumably circulating resources where they are most effective.
Though as individual cells in this larger body, people resent government telling them what to do and worship money as the source of their desires and needs. Which has given the banks the upper hand and so the only real job the flunkies allowed in office have, is running up the public debt the banks need to grow metastatically.
Banking is currently having its, "Let them eat cake." moment. As it sucks the rest of the world dry.
It's like the heart telling the hands and feet to go suck dirt, because it's keeping all the blood for itself.
