What you’re asking for seems more in the category of paradigm shift, than expecting tech companies to become more considerate. Given the current reality seems more about the old models being pushed to the breaking point, by these information technologies, do you have any suggestions how new technology companies will change the dynamic, given they have such entrenched competition?

I would argue we need to go back and really think through the nature of human experience and deal with the myriad assumptions built into our relationships with the larger reality. For instance, climate change is an effect of human activity, so the logical approach would be to fully examine the causes of such behavior, but the normal human solution is to patch the immediate problem, not seek the reasons for it and try addressing those first.
