Which goes to the binary nature of reality, most fundamentally between energy and form/order.

Galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in. As these mobile organisms, we have the heart and gut processing the energy driving us on, while the central nervous system sorts the information precipitating out.

The most basic misconception is how we see time. As these mobile organisms, this sentient interface between our body and its environment functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so we experience time as the point of the present, moving past to future. Physics codifies it as measures of duration.

The reality is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. Duration is the present as the events rise and fall.

There is no literal dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Different clocks can run at different rates simply because they are separate actions. Think metabolism.

Nature is so diverse and so integrated, because everything doesn't march to the beat of the same drummer.

Time is asymmetric, because it is a measure of action and action is inertial. The earth only turns one direction.

Energy is conserved, because it manifests the present, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.

Ideal gas laws correlate volume with temperature and pressure, but they are not considered extensions of space, even though they are as foundational to our emotions and bodily functions, as sequence is to thought.

So energy, as present, goes past to future, while the patterns generated go future to past. Energy drives the wave, while the fluctuations rise and fall.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past. Though it's the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy and feeding the flame, while the central nervous system sorts the information, signals from the noise. Thus the tendency to divide knowledge in terms of known and unknown, order and chaos, rather than energy and form.

As well as the tendency to think of life narratively, when the reality is more thermodynamic, so we fall in the habit of seeing life as a race, toward some end, when it's more of a dance.

Now waves tend to synchronize, as a path of least resistance, which is centripetal. While the energy naturally radiates out, toward infinity, dispersing across the space and effectively harmonizing the multitudes of structures. Between black holes and black body radiation.

Both are entropic, but going opposite directions, as with time. So there are nodes and networks, organisms and ecosystems, particles and fields, galaxies and the universal space.

More yin and yang, than God Almighty.
