Yes, but you are overlooking that the process generates the patterns, not the other way around. 1+1 always equals 2, but if you don't actually add the 2 sets of 1, you don't have the 1 set of 2. The operation is a verb. Time is an effect of a dynamic state we refer to as the present. There are no patterns, no numbers, sets, etc, in the void. These patterns only start to emerge as the fluctuations and consequent interactions emerge and build. As I pointed out, "free" will is also an oxymoron, because lack of cause will result in lack of effect. Yet every part of our conscious reasoning and automatic responses are inputs into the calculation that does determine the outcome.
The future observer is a hypothetical that doesn't physically exist, because the processes generating it and its point of view haven't occurred.
