Yes we exist in that fluctuation between everything cancelling out and everything fading out, yet if you use infinity as analogous with nothing, than what do you use to conceptualize everything? Can zero be synonymous with infinity? Isn’t the opposite of Omega, Alpha?

The finite is form and definition. “Somethingness” is in-between the absolute/nothing and the infinite/everything. It emerges from that tug of war between equilibrium and infinity.

Look at galaxies; The energy radiates toward infinity, but actually only as far as it can extend itself. While the core of the galaxy is a black hole. Which would seem to be the eye of the storm. The equilibrium where nothing exists, because all the energy radiated out, before reaching there. Consider the quasars shooting out the poles as whatever actually falls toward the center is ejected. So there is this cycle between energy radiating out/fading and form coalescing in/cancelling. Both entropic.

Current cosmology argues the universe is finite and while I have serious reservations about their logic, even now they are proposing multiverses, because they cannot avoid dealing with the infinite.

As I’ve described in one of my essays, I do think the Big Bang theory is seriously flawed and the cosmic background radiation is really the light of infinite sources, shifted off the visible spectrum, which is why it would be a perfect black body.

Concepts don’t exist in a tangible sense, but they do emerge from the foam of activity, where we try to extract some stable structure from the dynamic. Our minds don’t process activity. Even our vision is like frames of a movie, as we freeze flashes of perception out of the light. Otherwise it would be like leaving the shutter open and total whiteout. So they do exist as mental constructs. As matter exists as balanced energy. The problem is seeing beyond them. Math is the most distilled conceptualizations, but it is the skeleton of reality, not the seed from which it grows. Description, not explanation. The energy creates forms, but isn’t contained by them. The forms either are the limits of the energy, like the amplitudes of waves, or the effect of interactions. Like a stock market bubble, it might seem like it should pop, but until it pulls in all the money it will, it doesn’t stop growing. Then when the energy starts to recede, the top occurs.
