You are not a tree. No branches to the sky, nor roots in the ground. What have you? You move about, so you need to sense the environment though the various vibrations, light, sound, temperature, pressure, naturally arranged in a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate. Aka, time.

But do you move through time, or does time move through you? Does the present march along, from past to future, or does change turn future to past and there is only present, so time is just one more effect? Frequencies and amplitudes.

Your sense of consciousness does go past to future, but the perceptions, emotions and thoughts go future to past. Much as your life was once in the future and now much of it is in the past.

So are you the consciousness, always moving on, or the forms it manifests?

Order and transcendence. Desire and judgement. Head and heart. Motor and steering.
